This work shows a young woman forced to work in prostitution.
The right part of her face shows us a mask of ‘a played positive working attitude’. The left side of the portrait shows a broken woman, hurt by her life situation, with deep sorrow in her eyes.
This work draws our attention to the persisting dehumanizing (de-womanizing) situations of some girls and women in this world. Every girl, every woman has a right to a free and worthy existence.
